JL Bourg-en-Bresse won their first European title by defeating Besiktas 73-71, thanks to strong defense and decisive shot by Adam Mokoka. The match was intense, tied, and uncertain until the end, and it was Mokoka's last-second shot that made the difference. With this title, Bourg will be able to compete in the Euroligue next season. Like last week, JL took the lead thanks to their strong defense (25-17, 10e). But in this physical match, the fouls kept coming and Besiktas, efficient on free throws, took the reins (35-37, 18e). But after a 11-0 run, Mokoka saved the day with a three-pointer (38-40 at halftime). The Turks came back strong, with six consecutive points by Zizic (38-46, 22e). But after a rebound by Kokila, Mokoka dunked and hyped the crowd at the Equinox, before putting his team back in front a few minutes later (49-48, 27e). Then Mitchell and Agee scored three-pointers on the buzzer (55-52, 30e). In the final act, JL maintained their lead, but couldn't extend it. Besiktas equalized with 15 seconds left, on a Mathews three-pointer (71-71). But Mokoka took responsibility and shot the game-winner on the last possession, the ball bouncing several times on the rim before going in and delivering the win to the Bressans!
